Key responsibilities
- Advise clients, identify their needs and present proposals suited to their individual circumstances.
- Compare insurance cover, policy terms and insurance solutions.
- Follow up on quotation requests, acquire new clients and convert sales opportunities.
- Manage and retain a client portfolio, including policies, policy changes and renewals.
- Liaise with insurers on policy issuance and the resolution of operational queries.
- Collect and check documentation carefully, keeping information up to date on insurer platforms and in the CRM.
- Maintain professional, transparent and confidential relationships with clients and partners.
Candidate profile
Essential requirements
- Professional experience in insurance intermediation or in a sales role at an insurance company is essential.
- Skills in client advice, presenting proposals and ongoing client support.
- Knowledge of the main insurance classes: home, motor, health and life.
- Ability to identify needs, compare cover and policy terms, and recommend suitable solutions.
- A sales and results focus, including client acquisition, follow up and conversion of opportunities.
- Experience in managing client portfolios, policies, policy changes and renewals.
- Accuracy in handling documentation and the ability to liaise with insurers.
- Confidence using IT tools, insurer platforms and CRM systems.
- Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Organisation, independence, responsibility and teamwork.
- Professional ethics, confidentiality and transparency.
Additional skills valued
- Specific training in insurance distribution.
Practical experience in the insurance sector is essential.
