We all know how important our health is, but sometimes it can be easy to forget in the busyness of everyday life. That’s why it’s so important to make sure you schedule a check-up with your doctor every year. This is especially true if you have any chronic conditions that need to be monitored, but even if you’re feeling perfectly healthy, it’s always a good idea to get a yearly physical.
Good insurance companies encourage clients to do this as well, because early detection is key when it comes to many illnesses. Catching a disease in its early stages gives you a much better chance of either curing it or successfully managing it. So don’t wait until you’re feeling sick to see the doctor – make sure to schedule that yearly appointment and keep your health top of mind.
He in Portugal, one of the medical insurances that we recommend to our clients is Multicare Vital, because it has the most complete Oncology cover (up to 1.000.000 euros per year) among other excellent covers and services.
One of the services is to offer a complete free check up every year.
On the first year of contracting your health insurance Vital, Multicare offers a full medical check-up. It is a complete package, that would normally cost around 1.500 euros, but in this case it’s completely free.
The medical check-up package includes a variety of tests and exams that are conducted by a team of doctors and medical specialists in one of the connected medical centres of Multicare.
The specific tests and exams that are included in a package depend on the age and gender of the patient. For example, a young, healthy male patient may undergo a physical exam, bloodwork, and a urine test. An older female patient, on the other hand, may also undergo a Pap smear and a mammogram.
In general, medical check-up packages help to ensure that patients are healthy and do not have any underlying health conditions. By getting regular check-ups, patients can catch potential problems early and get the treatment they need.
